Does anyone know of a retailer that actually has a Big Stopper and holder system in stock?

I'm running out of places to check :(

Sorry no, but as an interim there are lots of B&W ND110s going in the classifieds at the moment they are also very good...it's what I have, if I could get to a post office I'd post mine to you to have a play with see if it suited you..sorry

Tried speed graphic from your list, they aren't expecting to have a big stopper until January 14 !!!! and they are out of stock on the 100mm holder too.Not heard of the other shops, will check them out.

Matt, any reviews on the B&W? I was really looking for a square system so I could add a grad in too.

I've seen them appearing in stock at Dale photographic a few times in the past couple of months.

The only issue I have with the B&W is being screw in it can be a real PITA as you have to physically take it off to re composed as apposed to slide out, compose etc..this does also make grades a hassle, this is where the LEE system comes into its own...Hi Tech filters are supposed to be quite good too

I ordered one from Dale on Friday. They have them in stock.

If you can't find one, get the hitech IRND instead. It's just as good. Infact mine has less of a cast than my big stopper had.

Dale are showing stock of the big stopper and a holder kit, I'll call them on Monday to order it as their website is truly shocking when viewed on my iPad.....black writing on an almost black background  and I can't find the mounting rings.

Thanks for the help guys :)

Dale are good lads, they'll sort you out. Say hello from me.

Sort of debating calling in there, I have to go to Leeds on Wednesday for a meeting it seems. Am I right in assuming that to use the Lee Holder on a 17-40 or 24-70 with a full frame, I need the wide angle (more expensive :bang: adaptor ring)

My Lee Stopper arrived from Dale today, so they deffo have stock.

I think so, certainly I get no vignetting at 17mm even with 2 slots. The wide angle rings are much nicer quality anyway.

Just spoken to them on the phone. Filter, ring and holder all in stock and will be posted out today :)
