For me the depth of field is spot on, very nicely done

Its a nice shot but I can't help feeling that the focal point is not very relevant. Another way to look at it is what value does that focal point add to the image? I quite often take one focused on the eyes and another more experimental shot - perhaps in this case the experimental shot is the way forward! I like the composition though... excuse the pun

I couldn't make or get close to eye contact, I was jammed into a crowd unable to move this is why I decided on this focal point.
Incidentally I am very happy with the outcome.

This looks sooooo 3d really liking the exposure colour/tones and composition here. The hat forms a lovely frame to the image.
