The long awaited upgrade!

I've FINALLY raised the funds to upgrade my A200 to an A700

I've read that the A700 is supplied with a remote. Are they infrared remotes? Can they only be used in front on the camera, not from behind the camera?


Managed to pick one up for £450 delivered, is this about the going price?

Is was new in January, has taken 700 shots and includes:

A700 Body (700 shots).
Plastic screen protector.
2 X 8GB Sandisk Cards (Extreme 3).

Well it arrived

Compared to my A200, its built like a bloody tank!

It didnt come with a Commander, and i've just sold my cabled remote from my A200 :bang: so i'm going to need another.


Not sure which is better, the original IR remote OR another cabled remote??
