I spotted this composition while enjoying a couple of beers in Brewdog, Aberdeen
Luckily, I had my wee RX100vii in my pocket and as it was my round, I slipped out and took the shot
This is the Castlegate Fountain, known locally as The Mannie against the Citadel bathed in late afternoon sunshine.
The Mannie is one of the few examples of leaden sculpture in the city. In 1706 work began on laying lead water pipes from Carden's Well to a new fountain in the Castlegate, to bring new supplies of drinking water to the growing population.
