I thought I'd post a recent sunset shot, where the Moon came out to play.

It was taken at Whitepark Bay on the Antrim Coast.

No 1 for me :) looks great

Like both again & wouldn't mind either hanging on my wall...

I think they're great, but I would get rid of the huge rock in the foreground of number one because I think it detracts from the rest of the photo. There are two many objects vying for attention, which is why I think photo number two works better!

I like both but although I'm not usually a fan of portrait framed landscapes/seascapes you have done complete justice to #1. A corker..!

Indeed. HDR is used to bring out detail in areas where the camera is unable to record in one shot. There are no areas where these images lack detail. Grad filters were used, and the final exposure is excellent.

Both lovely shots, and I love the subtle colours.

Great job. (y)

Wow I really like number 2 stunning.

One day I would love to be able to take photographs like that.

If they were mine I would frame and hang .......No 2.
Beautifully simple, and simply beautiful.
Well done indeed

Really like No.1 ... Very rare for me to prefer a portrait / vertical landscape but this really works for me.

Thank you all for the positive feedback - very much appreciated.
Re: the suggestion of HDR - I really try to keep my photo's as true and real as possible, thou I have used HDR in the past.

I've sent off the second on to be printed and will get framed.

thanks for the positive feedback guys.

Both fantastic, well done. I hope to be able to take photos like this soon. :)
