The Nikon D90 Problem!!!...

Well I'm going for it! I've decided to get the new D90!! Woo Hoo!

Now the question is do I pre-order one and then find I could be waiting ages for one or do I go to France and hope they launch at the same time there and have it in stock.

The reason I raise this is when I the D70 launched I had one on pre-order only for the company to say they didn't know when I would get it! Went over to France on a day trip. At the massive Cite Europe shopping complex near the tunnel one of the shops had it in stock so I got it.

Anyone know when the D90 launces in France?

One final thing is I will be selling my D70 + 18-70 kit lens. Any pointers as to worth? It's coming for 4 years old and in very good nick.

Back in January I sold my two D70 for £150 each. One of them had close to 40,000 clicks on it, and the other had just about 7,500 clicks; but both in mint condition.

As for the 18-70, I would not suggest you sell it as it is one of the best lenses for that price (in terms of quality, weight, and range). I sold mine for £60 (again back in January) only to go back and buy it back from the same store I sold it to!

As with yours, mine were close to 4 years old when I sold them.

Thanks for that. The D90 can come with a 18-105vr lens so that's why I would sell it.
