Well, I got this lens a little while ago for not a lot of money when I was shooting film. And it's a cracking, cracking lens and I had loved it for a while.
However, on digital, it's not currently compatible. Everything works at F/1.8, but when you try to shoot stopped down, not a chance. Error messages galore.
Now I've heard about re-chipping that Sigma did with this lens for a while but they don't seem to do it any more.
Does anyone have any advice as to what to do with it to get it working, even if it's a DIY method? Or should I just cut my losses... I wouldn't be loosing much, but it'd be a shame, as it's a fantastic lens, I hear much better than the new one!
