So I am lucky enough to have secured tickets for one athletics session and also for a rowing session. Does anyone have any idea from previous sporting events what is deemed as acceptable equipment for an amateur to take into a stadium ?
On the LOCOG website it says "large photographic equipment (including tripods)" are banned. I was hoping to take in a 70-200 VR II, 2X Converter and my 24-70 oh and my D7000.....I guess that's not going to be allowed ? Failing that I've got an old 18-200 but that's going to make me cry!
I am not sure the photographic opportunites would be that great at the athletics but I would have though the rowing might have been interesting.
Any thoughts ?!?!
