The other side of the road

I quite like that. Although I am a sucker for still water your composition works because of the foreground and more distant view with the use of the big sky.

I even like the cool colour balance of the shot and the overall bracing but pleasant feeling.
 
I really Like this image, well composed and such richness in the colours of the sky in particular. Superb, well done.
 
Very Nice Richard! the 50:50 police might be along later, but there is something about the balance of this that negates any comments of that nature. Its a beautiful vista, and I think the ripples in the water actually ad to the interest in this shot, particularly the inlet in the foreground. It has fantastic depth and you can really "Look into" the frame, nice work(y)

Never seen if from this side before. Interesting! I like but too much sky for me as there's not much going on. :)
