Why should they give money back?
Typically you want to avoid taking advantage of your customers so they remain customers.

They're also saying on the TPS website you should be able to amend the ticket if you booked with the deal yet Avanti is refusing over the phone, which is odd regardless of your opinion.

I would email or phone TPS. They also have a FB page.

On a different subject, has anyone found any actually good online deals?

Not all deals are online. if there is something specific you are after then have a look at the usual sellers then phone the relevant retailers that were attending the show. For example LCE, Wex. Ordered a canon pixma pro printer yesterday finally..... Been having one for years and have finally gone for it.
LCE quoted Canon pixma pro 100s for £275 and the 10s for £349. Sure there will be plenty of other offers as well, dependent on what folk are looking for.
