That sand looks very inviting Geof almost Mediterranean like.
 
Bit of a funny story about that River, we had a young GSD Bitch 1st time on the Beach who decided that that object a few feet out in the water was interesting

, so she ran out to it and suddenly found it was wet and cold for her feet and legs, hurried back to the sand and would never enter any water again

thats a shame ...it gets really cold out there and swimming isnt advised on this side of the main beach at the towans
