Not only do we have "The Scarborough Spa Express" running at the moment, but also "The Scarborough Flyer" which runs from Stockport to Scarborough and return.

Unfortunately it wasn't really flying where I was, however 6233 "Duchess of Sutherland" still looked rather nice in the sunshine.

That "harsh light" as you call it is something we haven't seen much of, it's called sunshine! :LOL:

Cool, Denton is like 2 minutes from me...don't think it'll be at the station though, there isn't much there aside a platform..I can't even remember seeing lighting :LOL:
 
Superb and it must be something to do with my age when I feel this wouldn't look out of place adorning the cover of a jigsaw puzzle box :)

That is an utterly gorgeous photo of an utterly gorgeous locomotive. Brilliant work! Really can't add anything else to it.
