I got my D300 today, and I'm v-pleased 
I know loads of people have got them, but it's exciting for me!
Seriously the guy I got it from was a real gent and drove over 100 miles to get it to me for a hands on test. The least I could do was buy him an Ale at the pub! It's imaculate, he even prints out the online manuals (he's got a D700 and D3) so that the ones in the box don't get 'thumbed'.
It's got just over 2k shots on it and he let it go for £800, which I'm very pleased with.
Like I said in a different thread, I knew my D80 inside out but this is definitely a different beast. Got some reading to do, but I'm already well pleased with the 1:1 zoom with AF/MF performance via LiveView, that is going to make macro shots a hell of a lot easier.
Just got to shift my D80 now......
