A pano from my London trip last weekend ...

From Tower bridge to ... Westminster (9 bridges I think)

Not sure everyone will like this, it is dark and contrasty. A gold star for the first to spot where it was taken from, it really isn't that difficult.

A monster version available here:

Nice, was it taken from a microlight.:D

I think It`s a tremendous image, i love it. The top of st pauls cathederal?

Top Marks !! St Pauls Cathedral - At the very top - Not the midstop. Gold Star ;)

SUPERB SHOT! Really captures the size of the City, well done(y)

Cheers.

Not yet convinced HuN to lend me it yet :)

Definately from St Pauls, thats Millennium bridge immediately infront of you. great shot, a stitch?

Silver star LL :) Yep it's a 7 shot stitch, with a Lee 0.6 Grad to help capture those clouds. Not much room right at the top and some thin spaces to squeeze into on the way up from the Whsipering Gallery.

Well worth it imo.

Is it me or is the horizon slightly tilted to the right?

Stunning pic all the same..

S*** dude, that is awsome! How many shots in total?

Love the processing as well. Works for me :)

Cheers Woodsy :) 7 shots in total. Got lucky with the clouds that day.

Fantastic shot Neil! Just love it!!!

cheers John.

You know what the number of times I played about with the shot thinking exactly the same as that! The alnd leans down from Crystal Palace which I think is the kink in the horizon... but you could very well be right. Checked the individual images as well, just to make sure. I think I have it as good as I can get it :)

Thats a great shot!

Cheers

Really great shot the black and white adds to the scene very nicely.

Thanks, the mono conversion really helped bring out the cloud, which I think frames the shot nicely!

Very pleasing, even if (as you admit) the horizon is a little squify.

I've got a similar panno from StPeters in Rome and had the same problem. I fixed it by "warping" the merged image until it looked correct. 'tis a bit of a cheat, but if it works ...
