First post here so be easy ;)

I own a 350D with a few lenses, 171D Tamron 28-200 and a 50mm 1.8 MKII, Have a 38-76mm as a spare small lens for when the weight of the tamron is too much.

Been playing with my new 50mm and i must say its really really nice.

Couple of shots from today. Im am by no means a pro or claim to be just a keen amature.

Comments good or bad would be very appreciated.

I think they all need straightening

Number 1:
would be better straight and if you hadnt cut the ends of the bush off.

Number 2:
I really like this, just think its a little soft. maybe missed focus a bit?

Number 3:
I would crop the backside of the bird to the right out

Number4:
The angle on this makes me feel sea sick. lol.
Also, crop the head out from the bottom right corner

Overall I like Number 2 the best

Thanks Ben,

Always good when you hear it from another ones perspective.

I second everything Ben said, some nice shots there.

I also agree with what Ben said,

My fave is #2 but I also really like #3 because of the amount of reflection on the water.

Will.
