Auchmithie harbour near Arbroath this morning in the rain. This is the true home of the Arbroath smokie. In the past the women used to wade out to the boats while carrying the fishermen on their backs. This was so the men kept their feet dry.Sure the ladies on the forum will have some choice comments!!!

The sky spoils it a bit (but of course its Scotland) but the subject and comp are good.

Thanks. There were about 8 hardy souls sitting around there & were to be all day doing paintings. Me I managed one shot & the battery died!!!

I like it and I don't think the sky spoils it, it might not be the best of skies, but it's got enough detail in it for me.
