Very nice, it might also make a great abstract if you crop the bottom off, just leaving the tree trunks

The first is a really great image but the second nails it. I'd be half tempted to crop even further if the image will take it.

Nice one (y). The only reason I'd crop this would be a for a banner shot for Facebook, Twitter etc otherwise the fallen dark red leaves add so much at this time of year and compliment the blue tones perfectly.

Thanks Scirocco. Yes I was thinking the same about it being a good banner shot, but I also think it may look nice printed.

Just to be clear I wasn't at any point trying to replace #1 with #2.... there's a reason only #1 got uploaded on my insta :)

although as was mentioned further up I think #2 makes for quite a pleasant abstract image.
