Hi Guys

I was just wondering that if you were to build the ultimate compact camera from scratch what would you put on it and why?

Serious answer please ;)

Think LX3 & G11 but better.

Gimme an LX3 with slightly better noise handling (which is already great) and a more retractable lens to make it pockatable and i'd be really happy!)

After saying that the LX3 i had off you is doing really well :thumbs:
 
G11 with remote control like the old G6 models had. Flip screen and remote release a definite must have.


Possible not for the reasons you were thinking, but my trophy fish pictures are so much easier when you can see yourself in the frame with the fish to take a decent photo! ;)

So many people come in store asking for a camera to take pictures of fish.

G9 with full frame sensor, ISO 6400, zero shutter lag, F2.8 fixed throughout the zoom range. And oh yes, £350 all in. Hahahaha

I'll bet we get it one day in the not to distant future too.
