Hi all
A very dark grey walk this morning, fields are well and truly flooded now and more Ducks than anything else on the ground.
After a lot of slipping around in the mud I found a Barn Owl hunting in fields, I moved around and lost track of it for a while as the gas bird scarers started firing, on the way back to the track I clocked a pair in a paddock not to far away, so picked up the camera and ran like my backside was on fire to try and catch up with them.
One Barn Owl disappeared with a catch, the other stayed on a tree for a while... I was glad it was in a tree, as I had a chance to get my breath back!
After a short while it returned to flying around the field scanning the grass.
I was pushing my luck with settings as the light was bad, 1/640 - f5.6 - ISO 5000, @600mm FF
C&C welcome as always
Thank you for looking
