I went to the Dorset Steam Fair and there should have been a Falconry display, flying etc. However, the rain came down and the wind got up so the flying display was canclled. I was talking to the guy in charge of the display and expressed my dissapointment that it wasn't taking place, and he invited me into the enclosure with the birds to take a few pics! How could I refuse!
The Vulture was right at the back of the small canvas cover (like an open tent) as he/she dosn't like the cold, so that explains the unusual angle! IF it had hopped of the perch, it could have taken a lump of precious flesh from me. Worth it though!
