Nope :)

CLUE #0: although this item is quite small and is used by itself it's always usually seen as part of a much larger object - though maybe not so much these days.....

So tempted to say yes to that but I'm actually after what's perched on it.

I suppose I'll have to take that. It's actually an ear claw but since they are generally only available from body piercing places (it's 10mm diameter), I'm happy with your guess.

And I've jus realised that your first "guess" was wrong anyway - it's perched on a cover DVD from AP rather than a copy of the magazine itself! :p
