There's a spider in my kitchen

Spotted this fella on the edge of the kitchen door. My first macro shot (not counting a couple of plants I've shot on film recently) for a while.

That's good. Focus spot on and lighting working well too. (Was the spider on an inclined surface? I'm curious about what looks like pairs of highlights one above the other, almost as if you were using a twin flash with the image having been rotated. Probably nothing of the sort of course!)

It was on the thin vertical edge of the door and I rotated the shots 90 degrees counter-clockwise as the composition looked a little weird otherwise.

The lighting was just my D3200's pop-up flash with my home-made bog-roll tube diffuser, but there are halogen spotlights in the kitchen, which might be the cause of multiple catch lights.
