It's lovely that people are so concerned about why I got the hump. I had written a reply that gave a bit more detail than the one by Purple Clouds, and then edited it to add a whole lot more information, covering USB connections, the Eye-Fi card and Canon's WFT transmitter. With my edits done and dusted I then saw new replies covering the same ground or asking questions I had already covered. The timing of the replies made it hard to believe that my revised text had not already been seen, so I wondered why on earth people were just repeating the advice that had already been given. What would be wrong with saying "Tim's covered it."? It was like I had written in invisible ink. Needless to say it meant that my post was worthless, since everone else was writing the same stuff, so I decided there was no need for the text to stay. Since TP doesn't allow post deletions I did the next best thing. I then unsubscribed from the thread.
I've had my PM from Kipax and have replied. No harm done, but when you go to the effort of writing detailed and considered replies, only to have them apparently ignored entirely, it is a tad irritating.
