Wallace Monument.

William Wallace defeated the larger army of the English invaders, at the battle of Stirling Bridge.

View from the bottom of the monument, it wasn't open so could not climb to the top!

That monument really is an impressive thing which dominates the landscape. I'm not sure you've done it justice by concentrating on small details in the main, although I'd imagine finding the right viewpoint for including the monument and the surrounding countryside would be a fair distance away?

Nice sharp shots though.
