No
So i developed a roll of hp5 in d76 earlier and this is what i got. gutted.

Anyone know what it is? I have a feeling the developer has gone off as i've had it in a 2l coke bottle for a good 4-5 months now.

Looks like fixer to me

re-fix it with fixer you know not to be exhausted

What? re-fix? is that going to rescue it? as far as im aware the fixer is fine. i'll give it a go though.

Just to clarify, is there any point in trying to re-fix? its been sat in the light now for ages?

Yeah, try and re-fix that. Just do it - you can still re-fix after a surprising amount of time.

Then it was never exposed or its a developer problem

The last time I got a clear film, I'd got the jugs mixed up......duh

No man, its busted

chalk it up to experience and get some nice new developer :)

New developer would be good, but the fact the frame numbers developed and nothing else means that something else went wrong here.

It's not a developer problem if the frame markings are showing - it's an exposure problem only. D76 in a reasonably airtight bottle for 5 months will probably be okay.

Check your camera and/or that you developed the right roll!
