Think I've just snagged a bargain, what do you think?

Hi you lot! Needed a new rucksack and has settled on a flipside do went a hunting, found a person close to me whack a 500aw lowepro flipside on eBay so gave him a message to see if I could snaffle it. Anyhow got it for 30 quid!

But.... He said he had some other stuff for sale as he was downsizing. So I managed to get a giottos mt 8361b with a Benro b2 bullhead too.

In total I paid 90 quid for it all. How do you guys think u did? Good deal?

Hmm, this thread has a tone of the negative. Why post jack? Mike, I thought so too but the guy was very genuine and we had a good chat about gear and the like so I was comfortable the stuff was his. Was only in the market for a bag but couldn't let the rest go at that price :).


South if this thread is not welcomed, I'm a member if quite a few gear related sites and most members on those forums love it when another member gets a good deal. As a beginner I knew nothing about troops and such, I'm pretty sure I got a good deal just wanted to ask your expert knowledge on said gear

Yes it is a great deal if it comes off? I assume you haven't received the items yet? Hope that you do, and if they are in good condition, then yes you have got a great deal, and well done!

congrats stuff like this does happen, my girlfriend brought back 2 Brand new filters from work last week free from a college, a Lee Big Stopper and .9 graduated. needless to say i was stunned

Any chance of a run down as to which cleaning liquid you will use to clean the gear, would be helpful if you tell us how you dry it and what brand of toilet paper you use to wipe yourself with, i do like a bargain and bog roll round here is very expensive.

I do too. Although I was a bit jealous when a member on here recently posted about how they got a Canon 7D for something stupid like £175.

Let's not get into a slanging match eh Gary, on forums you don't need to respond if the thread does not suit you, just move along :) poking people for no reason amounts to mild trolling in my book. If your bored go take some pics, it's nice out ;)

thanks for those who have replied favourably. I was really happy to get a good deal for a change, I'll keep them to myself from now on.
 
that's a pretty good deal!

my best bargain- I had a 550ex (which I bought for under £100) stolen, I made a claim on the insurance and they sent me 2 600ex's!
