I've just bought a 50d...moving onto my first DSLR...

I will be selling my Bridge camera soon...Friday most prob...

I still have to compose an advert...take some photos...check postage cost...etc...

The camera is a Panasonic FZ30...8 MP...and for me was a good learning curve to the SLR as it has a both a zoom and a focus ring on the lens...

I have some filters...a lowpro bag...remote...batteries...memory card...etc All VGC...

Like I say...I have to get all the gear fixed out and photoed etc...If you are interested...Friday I'll PM you when I'm putting it up for sale...

I am very happy with my Fuji S1500 also liked the coolpix l100 but wanted a cam with viewfinder as well as LCD unfortunatly its only Electronic not optical but still helps in bad light

My only fault so far in no screw thread for attaching filters etc but there are ways around that

I've just bought a Canon S3. Its very good value sh, zroundabouts 100. Its a few years old but gives good quality, and if you don't want to spend 250 + its a very good option. Very compact zs well. I once had a Panasonic FZ50. Great camera, felt like a true DSLR, but its quite bulky

Thanks for all the replies just been looking at the Fuji will take a look at anything with the word lumix on it for me
the canon's are nice and the nikon p90
Cheers Bob

Thanks for the offers to buy but I am really looking to buy new the Fuji S200 exr seems to be looking good at the moment anyway I will have to think about selling all my gear first if I decide to go that way.

Bob check out the reviews on the S200exr before buying, its actually nowhere near a good as the S100fs. Not only in image quality but has less useful features like the tilting lcd screen etc there's quite a few reports about the IQ so try before buying if possible.

It served me well...

And if I had not bought the 50d it would still be in my bag...

I still loved its smooth focusing...and x12 zoom...but time to move on...building a new kit up now...I sold off my big telescope and 2" eyepieces for this kit...

I bugged in the advert title and did not word it too well...will have to fix it out later...

Money will go towards a flash...if I sell...!!!

I've got a Panasonic Lumix FZ8 and although it is an older model I have been very happy with it - If I were you I would seriously consider Big Man's FZ30.

I have only recently got my D60 (end of August) so any pictures I have posted befor that will be on the FZ8 if you wanted to have a look. I'm not particularly skilled but it will give you an idea of what the panasonics can do!

Panasonic LUMIX TZ6 owner here. Wouldn't live without it!!
