Hi Guys,
My hit rate with my Sigma 70-200 F2.8EX at weddings seems low these days, after hurting my lower back last year I find the weight draining also. I'm thinking of swopping it for the Sigma 50-15 F2.8EX, anyone got experience of this lens, what are your thoughts and what is the Sigma QC and aftercare like these days please?. Also, have you seen any decent Nikon fit non HSM models anywhere!
Many thanks in advance?

Its had pretty good reviews and the MTF figures are fairly good on it though its knocked into a cocked hat by the Tokina 50-135mm on IQ.

A lot depends whether you use a FF Nikon as the Tokina is designed for DX/APS-C these days.

These links might help.

Many thanks for the info, especially about the Tokina as it was not even on my radar!. Will have a good read around the web.

Anyone else have any experience of the Sigma and Tokina lenses?. I am now researching the Tokina in depth as the reviews and test figures look promising, anyone know about their QC?
