Thinking of upgrading

I'm currently considering upgrading the majority of my kit, I currently shoot with a 5d MkI and Canon 60d and Canon 17-40, 70-200 F4 IS and a Sigma 150-500.

I really only shoot wildlife but I am taking a trip to the West coast of the US in October so I was thinking I would keep the 17-40 for some nice landscape shots but I am considering changes to the other two lenses.

My inital thoughts are trading in the two bodies for a 5d MkII

and I'm not sure what to do with my lenses, do I change just the sigma for a Canon 400mm 5.4 or do I consider changing both lenses for a canon 100-400

If you mainly shot wildlife, personally I would stay with a cropped sensor which means 1D MKIII (used) or 7D (used?). As for lenses what's wrong with your sigma 150-500mm? Not sure the 100-400mm would offer you a great deal over your sigma. The canon 400mm f5.6 a great lens for birds and would be sharper and faster focusing than either of the other 2 lenses mentioned, but you lose the versatility of a zoom.

Thanks for replying Pete, I would really like to increase my DoF I love the Sigma but I would prefer something around F4 or even a F2.8

Either of the 2 bodies you have mentioned are an option. On my last visit to Kenya I thought I would use the 60d more than the 5d but I prefered the quality of the images from the 5d so I decided to use that as my primary body.
