Has anyone got any recommendations for a good quality third party alternative to canon oc-e3? Loads for sale on fleabay, but obviously hard to get reviews on how well constructed/fitting/compatible they are. Would rather avoid canon prices if poss so if anyone has experience of a good fleabay seller, that would be great.

One thing I've discovered is that some of the OC-E3 clones don't work with some of the Canon cameras and there doesn't appear to be any consistency between the different brands as to which cable/camera combo causes a problem.
The YongNuo ones appear to suffer less from such issues than the Pixel ones, but as I say I've come across issues with both brands, so you need to ensure that the seller is willing to exchange/refund if you're one of the unlucky ones....
