Third party grip for D90

I'm looking for a grip for a D90 and see some cheap options on the bay. Any reason not to go for something like this?

Do a search for either a grip from link delight from the bay/Meike ones.....

They're meant to have good reviews....

I have one, although i've not used much, but has been fine for the times i have used it....
 
One of the Linkdelight (ebay store) ones for around £25 are good - they send either the meike or Aperture one - but they are pretty much indistinguishable from each other.
 
Meike is very good, I have one and seems very well made. That said, I just never use it!

Are there any issues with customs etc when ordering from outside EU? I've had a few gifts from Australia held up by the PO and had to pay about £20 before they would release the package,

Go to eBay, search for d90 grip. 3rd one down, uk seller, £23.46 + 99p postage. Quick delivery and no hassle with customs.
Mate brought one, make was meike and came with a wireless shutter remote.
 
Famous last words: I've never had anything from Hong Kong charged VAT, etc. by Customs. I've had a few things from the USA get caught but not everything. I suspect there's just so much coming from HK that the system would grind to a halt if everything was checked.

I would contact the seller first and find out what brand they have, just in case they have random batches, and may have some other branded ones in there too.....:thumbs:
 
I've got the opportunity to borrow one for a while so I will see how much I like it before purchasing one of my own.
