I would possibly crop a bit from the right so he's looking into the photo.

That is a good image. Nice contrast between face and surroundings.
Not quite sure where he's looking. I could imaging him faffing with his mobile phone just off shot.

Cropping in to the edge of the hood works for me too but the important bit is that it's a fantastic capture.
