thoughts about the Canon 24mm STM F2.8 pancake ?

Anyone own this lens ? Just wondering about it as a low weight walking about/casual landscape lens (to pop on my 40D if walking up a big hill type of thing) - Ive already got a 35mm f1.8 but I'd like something a bit wider for casual use without breaking the bank.

(anyone intent on having a zooms are the one true god argument can go and play on the motorway , Ive a lot of lenses both zoom and prime already and have no interest in that particular well tried argument)

yeah thats why i said i wanted to put it on the 40D - the 35mm f1.8 can go on the 6D for about the same angle of view - I just generally try to keep the 6D for paid work only
