Thoughts on Sigma 50-150mm f2.8 - Crop 70-200 alternative

Been researching lenses for my 70D and this one is really well reviewed by some sites but there doesn't seem to be a great deal on info out there.

As an alternate to a 70-200 on crop it does make sense and quite a bit cheaper than a 70-200 2.8 IS. Negatives seem to be the length and weight of the lens.

Anyone shooting with one?

I have a MkII in Nikon fit and it's a cracker. I haven't seen the current OS version but I believe it's a lot bulkier than the earlier versions, more like a 70-210mm than the original compact size. Here are a couple of shots from mine, both taken at f2.8 and fairly lo-res for my web site.
