Thoughts on these shots

Just out of interest today before i decide on 1 camera or the other took 2 nearly identical shots setup both as much the same as i could to see the difference any thoughts?

Photo 1 over photo 4 and photo 3 over photo 2 for me. I'm viewing on my galaxy s3 if that matters.

Have I picked one from each camera? It'd be typical if I have.

well 1 and 2 are from 1 camera and 3/4 from another

I'd go for camera 1 based on the photo's above. Doesn't look like a big difference to be honest though.

Photos 1/2 are with my Sony DSC-R1 and the others with a Canon 350D With a standard lens

Just trying it out to see if worth getting another lens for the 350 or not

If it's more reach for little outlay you could look at a Canon 55-250 IS, they're a good price and seem good value for money (amazon @ £120 for example) from what I've read about them.
