My fiance, his mother and I all ordered cameras from Castle Cameras about a month ago. Reason being they had the last Canon 7Ds in stock we could find. They got 7Ds, I got a 550D.
His mother recently noticed her pictures were soft. We found it, or the lens (a 70-300mm f4-5.4? L) was backfocusing. My fiance adjusted it in the fine-tune thing by +3 (I think, or -3).
He tested her lens on his camera, found it did the same, but then also tested his lens (24-70 L?). Again, backfocusing, and the +3 adjustment fixed it.
And then came my camera and lens (100mm L macro). That was backfocusing too (possibly less though), but it doesn't have the fine tune function. Fortunately I primarily use manual focusing.
Any idea what's going on? We don't even know if it's the cameras or the lenses, though we think it's probably the cameras. Lenses were from Warehouse Express if it helps.
