Three of a kind

Taken for a local camera club competition (theme was three). Wondered what everyone else thought of it. Any area's I could improve on it? The processing was done on Nik Software's Silver Efex Pro 2.

I think it's a great capture emphasizing the theme. If the third finger was a bit more distinguishable then it would be a complete set of threes!

I've been waiting for someone else to point out that it looks strange!
It seems unreal to look at cards this way.
Normally you would use your left hand to look at cards this way, so your thumb would be under the cards to lift them.
Either someone else did it, which would be weird in real life, or you maybe used a remote to take the pic.
Maybe your triple jointed...
Anyway, lighting, contrast, DOF all looking good.

Cheers guys. Might have a look at reshooting it with my left hand to include the thumb. Was self shot using my computer to focus and release the shutter which might be why its an odd angle.

Its a good, well thought out image and suits the brief well. The mono conversion seems ok (i say ok because im viewing on the phone) but i might have preferred it in colour.
