Three weeks without my Nikon!!!!

I bought my D80 body from Jessops less than 12 months ago, and it was a very good deal for a body only hence why I went there.

Anyway, yesterday the small plastic lid of the battery slot had broken on one of the small stubs, so it's not a completely secure fix at the moment.

My local Jessops quoted roughly about three weeks to have it repaired/replaced under warranty.

I'll see if any of the Nikon service centres can do it. Otherwise, any other quicker solutions?
 
get jessops to take the battery lid off a display D80, then they can send that back for repair :)

more realistically, I'd ring Nikon and ask them if they can send you one.. must be worth all of about a quid :shrug:

I don't see the need to send the whole thing back, just for that. If you can get away without sending it back, I can post you one as I've got one I don't use (got a grip :))
