....from she who must be obeyed to purchase a lens I have been lusting after for some time now - a Canon 70-200 f/2.8L IS.

I always thought this would be the first L glass I purchased, but with the recent acquirement of a 5DII, I opted for a 24-70mm L as a walkaround lens, at which point I thought it would be ages before I got my hands on that nice bit of white kit.

But it looks like Santa has come really early this year, and I am hoping to add the new lens within the next two weeks.

Got to handle a 5D MkII last weekend and it's gurt lush as we say in the West Country..........

BTW speak to Kerso, he did me a fine price for my f/2.8 70-200 IS, but the pound is pants at the moment :'(
 
Very nice, looking for the same lens and really hoping the price will drop because of the mkII being launched (but I'm not sure it will)
