Possible Thunderstorms are forecasted for tomorrow , could be severe in nature especially in the south east.

Rough idea of general location for tomorrow

Storms in the south east are likely from late evening onwards , but nothing is certain.

A good shout. In Ashford (Kent) it's starting to chuck it down. Some major rumbles of thunder to go with it. Bring on the lightning, just not too close please!

Its been clear blue here all day.................
BUT the Cumulus clouds are starting to roll in and bank up now
I don't know if it will amount to much, its still blood hot and not particularly humid
time will tell..............

A few loud claps of thunder and lots of rumbles here over the last half hour or so, a few large spots of rain. No pretty clouds just a yellow-grey sky

Doing photography of lightning during the day is HARD! i can't press the shutter quick enough to get the shot

Thunderstorm is just passing us now, I got one shot of some lightning, but it wasnt very good. My wife just looked at the shot and said "is that it?"
I took over 500 shots to get that one on continuous........

I think I'd better keep it to myself!

Im so fustrated. I live basically on the beach and seen lightning but its pointless me walking out and setting up because there is just too much damn light still!

wait for the darkness to fall, never had much success in the daytime, maybe neutral density filters could help, I think they allow longer exposures.

Well a few rumbles of thunder, a little rain and a few distant flashes of lightning....and that was that !!!
Waited for it till 01.30 then gave up.

seemed pretty poor!

watching the storm data, it missed most of us totally, went all up the east coast shore.
over-hyped! usually the ones that are good! you don't hear about before hand
