i need help for a customer, annoyingly the only way i could think of a solution went into the thousands.
what we are looking for is a set-up that allows us to record from anything from 16 hours to max 35 (generally 16-18hrs) but then be able to condense this down to maybe a 1-2 minute presentation to place onto a website. (ie a frame every 3-5 minutes playedback at 5f/s, also sorts out exposure though out)
we are looking for a straight forward setup that can be left all day in a muddy conditions with concrete flying about, ruled out tethering compacts to laptops. (camera may have to be contained in homemade waterproof bag)
pentax k20d only allows 99 images continuously, doh.
also has anyone got a camcorder that has a similar sort of feature available but can last without the battery running out before the end?
Budget: rather not go above £500.
i've just bought myself an interval timer (seculine old stock so only fits canon semi-pro and up) and iStopMotion which works lovely. so unless anyone has bought or works in a shop that stocks the new boxes can tell me if they have the attachment to connect to the 1000D that would be brilliant.
i'd be ever so greatful for your ideas
thank you
