Just wondering if anyone has any good ways of preventing the lens from steaming up and even freezing during these times? and all round protect the camera during long shoots?
thanks

You can get heated straps from Astro shops and websites.

Sorry, using my phone to post and don't know how to do links

Try Google for dew heater strip there are plenty out there at different lengths to suit your lens. I use those made by Kendrick. You will also need a controller.

thank you :D

P.s Anyone know how to process hundreds of images the same way in photoshop at once

What are you trying to do?

Well I wanna do a number of different high def Timelapse videos of the night sky to sunrise and sunset and back to night sky but I don't have a dolly yet but will try anyway and maybe in the summer when I head of to the Seychelles and hopefully on the island of La Digue I'm gonna try for a time lapse of the milky way :D

I usually set up the camera at the back door then 5min later open the door but leave it inside. 5min later take it out side. Wrap a tea towel around the body and more importantly the lens. Finally when climatised remove the lens cap. Apply the same to removing from your car. So far problem free touch wood.

In photoshop you can use batch processing. You create a list of actions you want to do, then select a folder and it will apply it to all of the images.
