All,

If I found myself in London, early (say 0800-0900 ish) with 2-3 hours to kill before a business meeting, where could I go for a few quick 'snaps'.

May be a silly question. I normally have meetings near Trafalgar square but have never taken my camera before ...

Thanks in advance

You are within striking distance of sooo much :)

The river is 10 mins away- plenty there, Parliament Buildings down Whitehall and the Square itself - or head up Charing X Road for Leicester Sq and loadsa people :)

As Gary says - Wander! :)

new bit of the british museum is normally empty at that time, some lovely architecture in there

Edit: Doh missed the bit about trafalgar square, that'd be some was away

i work in the heart of londons oxford street tbh the best pictures r taken in the back streets of camden and places not much to see in central london until the sun goes down and the partiers come out

If you head up to Soho/West End through Leicester Square that's a pretty decent time for candids as that time of morning is when a lot of the cafes are stocking/clearing out and there's a fair number of weary workers around as well.
