Timer Remote Shutter Release

Hi guys, can anyone recommend from experience one of these for a 8 hour time lapse project please, Price wise it may have to be a 3rd party version!

That's what I've got and it works OK. My previous one, however, developed a dodgy connection where the wire enters the remote. It would work fine when I was holding it, but stopped working if it were allowed to dangle from the wire. A bit of velcro sorted it until I got a new one.
