tips for eurodisney please

me and the wife are taking 4 4 year olds to eurodisney in a couple of weeks
train from doncaster then stay in london onto eurostar change in lille and then disney.

i have my canon eos 400 with stock 18-55 lens
when i have gone before i tend to try and get too much in the pictures and the subjects (family) tend to get lost in the scenary or the crowds

any tips would be greatly appreciated guys as to what settings to use and some tips on techniques and tricks would also help

please remember im a total newbie but would like to move away from full auto as much as my limited knowledge allows

i hear you mate but 1 of the children that we are taking has never been anywhere like this and i would like to catch the wonder in his eyes without having to stage anything if that makes sence.
we will be blowing a picture up into a canvas for his parents when we return.
