Paper tissues of all varieties seem to just disintegrate before, during and after use ( I know that they are supposed to after use but preferably not in your pocket! ). Our "usual" brands are just as bad as the cheapo versions. Don't get me started on toilet tissues as they are currently causing similar problems here too! I don't mind recyclables but preferably after use, not during!

Interesting.

I have a half full pack of tissues by my side of the bed that is at least four years old (I don't use them much) and it still seems fine. As for loo paper, I've not noticed any problems there either. You aren't having dampness problems in your house, are you? That seems to shorten paper's life.

Nope! The house is perfectly dry and fine. My kids have noticed it too. The loo roll choice is a nightmare in our house! Scent or no scent? Quilt or no quilt? Single or double?

Triple ply Andrex here - you know your nether regions deserve it!!!

The packs of packs of tissues from Lidl seem nose-blow proof and don't disintegrate in a pocket.
