sorry for the cheesy title but i wanted to grab peoples attention.
i have an a300 and am after a 50mm lens, i had found tha it was £250 so thought i would wait until the end of the year along with other gear im after, however i am relcently come into a small fortune of £100 as im selling my camcorder so i realise that if i save up another £40 then i can get the f1.8 version. this is my dilemma.
will i miss that extra aperture stop if i buy the 1.8 version? i dont tend to use shallow depth of field and so even the 1.8 is large enough for me, is here a big degration in IQ with the cheaper of the two?
if anyone owns this lens or is after it can you help me through my decision.
thanks all,
