To upgrade or not to upgrade.

Hi folks

Looking for your thoughts.

I have been contemplating upgrading to canon 5diii.

I currently use the 7d.

I mainly dabble into most thing but I do get a lot of action shots of horses.

So what are your thoughts? or 5d mkii

Given the 5D4 probably isn't too far away, now might be the worst time to upgrade to a 3. The 2 is a low way off the pace compared with current bodies but is obviously pretty decent value for a genuine pro body.

Where is your 7D currently limiting your photography?

And a final question: how invested in Canon lenses and other kit are you? What about a system change, even to mirrorless?!?
