hi joe dont even know if this is what your asking for. lens (the only lens i have)..efs 18-135mm ,AV 5.6 iso400 ...had a look at some of your pics on flickr fantastic :)

The cropping won't help with the sharpness, do you have the exif data / equipment you used?

With the dog, I am not sure wether the focus is on the dog, or the twigs to the right?

Looking at the exif data above you've had a shutter speed of 1/80th. I know you were shooting with your aperture wide open but I reckon pushing the iso to 800 and getting a faster shutter speed would improve things. Then again, I have been wrong before...

Mike thanks, i shall try that 2moro see what happens
No 1 is a crop of no2 so its been cropped alot
No2 has just had the edges taken off
No3 has had about 30%ish off
