I've been into photography most of my 44 years on this planet and when I was a kid my stepfather bought a billingham 550 classic bag! I loved that bag and always have wanted one.......
The wife and I have discussed this over the years and it was always said how expensive they are....... For a bag!!!
I was doing my job today ( surveyor) and I was in a house when I spotted a billingham on the sideboard! " oh you're a photographer?" I enquiried! Nah he said I'm selling it on eBay next week! ....... I'll give you £50 for it now! ...... Well he bit my hand off ....... RESULT I thought and handed over cash! As I left I commented that the bag was in perfect condition and how the bag retails at £320 ( 335) series....... He laughed and said I found it at the tip and gave two quid for it......... I don't care!!!!! I love it!!!
